Split Dream
Ingredients:

Preparation:
  1. Preheat The Oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake Churro for 8 minutes and let cool for approximately 30 seconds
  2. Immediately roll in 16:1 sugar to cinnamon mixture and then cut the churro diagonally and evenly into three pieces
  3. place a small, light coating of hot fudge sauce in the center of the plate. This helps the churro stay stable on the plate.
  4. place a generous scoop of ice cream on top of the churros.
  5. place several slices of bananas on top of the ice cream and churros
  6. squeeze hot fudge sauce and peanuts on top of entire combination.
  7. top with a sprig of mint for added color and presentation.
  8. serve immediately and enjoy!


This is a banana split recipe without peanuts for the growing number of consumers who are alergic to peanut products. this classic banana split recipe uses 12" plain California Churro as a base for vanilla ice cream, sliced bananas, hot fudge topping, sprinkled cinnamon and sugar, and a sprig of mint for presentation. Because of the increased awareness of people with allergies to peanuts, peanuts were intentionally left, but may be added for those that are not.
